Course Objectives: To develop appreciation of sport as a spectacle, social event, recreational pursuit, business & entertainment. To acquire adequate knowledge of history, rules & strategies to facilitate one's role as a spectator for a variety of sports. To identify issues that affect the sport spectator & spectator behavior.

Course Content: Review of history, current events, observation of selected sports & issues.

Method of Presentation: Lecture, discussion, reports, & video clips.

Method of Evaluation: Attendance, discussion, participation, 3 reports, midterm & final exams.
