Students must meet the minimum value in both GPA and test scores to receive a
scholarship *Incorporates $2400 per year University Scholar Award (in state tuition only). **1st in class automatically receive a minimum scholarship of $2500, regardless of ACT scores. 1st in class can receive higher based on ACT scores. Example: A student who finished 4th in a class of 100 with a 26 ACT would receive 9 points for ranking above the 95% of their class, and 7 points for their ACT score. The total of 16 points would give that student a scholarship of $2700. RENEWABLE if enrolled at Mansfield Campus and maintain at least a 2.7 GPA

S. Wynn and Marion B. Goodman Scholarships for the Arts
Provides one-half tuition scholarships for students who are particularly strong in one of four areas of the arts: Creative Writing, Theater, Art, Music. Scholarship recipients chosen by faculty panel. NON-RENEWABLE

Joseph C. Dutton Leadership Scholarship
Two $1000 scholarships awarded per year. One scholarship to an entering freshman, one to a currently enrolled student. Based on leadership activities in high school or while at OSU-Mansfield. Requires letter of recommendation from high school counselor or teacher.

Copperweld Corporation Shelby Division Scholarship
Provides scholarships to new or continuing students based on high school class rank, ACT scores. Amount of scholarship varies from year to year, but generally provides $1000 per year. Preference goes to students who live in the Shelby School district. RENEWABLE

Galion Community Scholarship
Provides scholarships, generally in the amount of $900 to $1500 to selected graduating seniors of Galion High School. RENEWABLE as a Mansfield Campus Scholarship

John S. Jordan Scholarship
Provides scholarships for both new and continuing students of color attending The Ohio State University at Mansfield. Preference given to African-American students. Awards range from $600 to $1000 per year and are based on grades, leadership and community involvement. RENEWABLE

Someone Cares Scholarship/Grant for Women
Provides financial assistance to women who have had their education interrupted for at least a three year period. Based partially on need. Preference given to single mothers.

Philip H. And Rhoda W. Gregory Scholarship
Provides scholarship(s) to deserving students at the Mansfield Campus who have a completed a strong high school mathematics program, including four years of college preparatory mathematics. Scholarships range from $1000 to $1200. NON-RENEWABLE

Richland Bank Scholarship
Provides academic scholarship(s) for a new or continuing student attending The Ohio State University at Mansfield. Preference given to a student interested in studying Business or
Finance. Based on high school class rank and ACT for new students, based on GPA for
continuing students. Awards range from $800 to $1500 per year. RENEWABLE

Critical Difference Scholarship for Women
Administered by the Columbus campus of Ohio State, provides funding for deserving women who have interrupted their education. Typically awarded to continuing, rather than new students. Award amounts vary, but range from $1000 to $5000 per year. MUST RE-APPLY

OSU Alumni Club of Richland County Scholarship
Full tuition scholarship, awarded to a student who has graduated from a
Richland County high school. Recipient must study for a minimum of one year on the
Mansfield Campus. Applications are available from high school guidance counselor in
January of the student's senior year. Recipient is selected by the OSU Alumni Club of
Richland County, based on application, high school grades, ACT scores and personal
interview with Alumni Club.

Faculty Staff Merit Scholarship
Awarded to a continuing student enrolled at OSU-Mansfield. Recipients selected by Admissions and Scholarship Committee, based on input from OSU-Mansfield faculty. Award ranges from $1000 to $1200.

James R. McLeod Scholarship
Provides scholarship(s) to continuing students based on demonstrated excellence in both
academic work and community service. Scholarship amount: $1000 NON-RENEWABLE

David M. Scott Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, is awarded to a new first-quarter freshman majoring in science or engineering.

OSU-Mansfield Travel Grants
Awarded to students participating in Study Abroad Programs sponsored by Ohio State, for students attending professional/academic conferences or meetings, or school-related travel programs. Awards provide for one-half of travel costs, to a maximum of $1000 per year.

Travel Grant Guidelines
Undergraduate Research Grants
Undergraduate research can be an important and rewarding part of a university education. To encourage undergraduate students to undertake research projects, the Ohio State University at Mansfield makes available to eligible students Undergraduate Research Grants of up to $500. Such grants may be used for supplies, equipment, and travel (not including conference travel, for which Student Travel Grants are available).
