Job Description:
New York Media Experience Program, now in its 6th year, offers undergraduate students a full time semester long study/internship in the media capital of the US. Our program includes a residence option. NYMEP students can live on the upper east side of Manhattan, at the renowned 92nd St. Y. The residential neighborhood features many nearby restaurants and shops. The famous "Y" is a well known community center with a 900-seat lecture hall that daily hosts talks by authors, intellectuals and leaders in business, government and the arts. Duties:
This program only operates in the Spring & Fall. Students are enrolled in a 400+hour internship and also take two 3-credit online courses. Both courses-seminars in Media Ethics and Media Management-provides students a strong theoretical grounding to match their in-depth field experiences. Internships will commit students to spend 4 days of full-time work each week for 12 or more weeks in a professional environment.

Student's of all majors who aspire to careers in media and public are welcome to apply.Who does best? For the past six years we have seen that the largest factors behind success are not major field or GPA, but maturity, motivation and independence.
