Job Description:
The Ohio Legislative Service Commission is seeking applications for telecommunication internship.
Duties:
Telecommunication interns are assigned to The Ohio Channel/Government Telecommunications media center (OGT)and are delegated a wide range of duties depending on their abilities and level of experience. Generally, duties of the telecommunications interns include: Studio and field production assignments, working with state-of-the-art digital equipment, directing, researching, script writing, editing, lighting, videography, audio, graphics production, and producing broadcast and non-broadcast governmental, contract, educational, and historical programming. Many duties require an intern to cover evening committee meetings and floor sessions.
Qualifications:
Applicants must complete at least a bachelor's degree program in telecommunications or a relatecd major by December 2009.
Hours: Various
Pay: $25,400/yr. & possible $2000.00 bonus.
