
PEARL CONARD GALLERY CALL FOR EXHIBITION PROPOSALS
The Ohio State University at Mansfield announces a call for proposals to exhibit artwork in its Pearl Conard Gallery. The gallery is located on the OSU-M campus and was established in March, 1989.
Purpose:
This gallery seeks to provoke conversation about what art should or shouldn't
be. The artwork may be controversial, but is not required, and must be professional
in its intent and impeccably crafted.
Proposals on unlimited topics and issues may include painting, sculpture, fiber arts, mobiles, graphics and printmaking, ceramics, glass design, photography, CD/Video, cutting-edge concepts, and limited installations.
All emerging and established artists residing in the continental United States are encouraged to submit proposals.
The gallery does not charge a fee exhibitions. It does pay for the return shipping of all artwork accepted for exhibitions and charges a 30 percent commission for all sales. Admission to the gallery is free.
A complete exhibition proposal includes 12 slides; slide
list, resume, artist's statement, a bibliography (if applicable), and a self-addressed
stamped envelope for return of your slides.
