Terri Fisher earned her Ph.D. in experimental/developmental psychology at the University of Georgia, after which she joined the faculty at OSU-Mansfield. Dr. Fisher has conducted research on various aspects of sexual behavior and gender issues and has been the recipient of several research awards for this work. She is currently concentrating her research on gender and personality differences in various aspects of sexual behavior. Dr. Fisher is the co-editor of three books: Handbook of Sexuality-Related Measures (Routledge, 2011), Speaking of Sexuality: Interdisciplinary Readings (Oxford University Press, 2010), and Current Directions in Human Sexuality and Intimate Relationships (Pearson, 2010). Fisher is active in various professional and community organizations and is a Past-President of the Midcontinent Region of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS), a SSSS Fellow, and a Consulting Editor for The Journal of Sex Research. She teaches Adolescence, Psychology of Women, and Psychology of Human Sexuality. Dr. Fisher currently serves as the Assistant Dean of OSU-Mansfield.
